Wouter Rohde (1959) loves birds and nature in a broad sense.  People call him easy-going, dedicated and helpful.

He has been leading day excursions and weekend trips for his local bird group to numerous destinations in the Netherlands for more than two decades.

He also organises weekly trips to beautiful birding destinations in Europe for a group of friends. He enjoys helping others experience beautiful observations and explaining 'why we see what we see'.

For many years he gave an advanced bird identification course for the local bird group, in which jizz plays an important role.

He is a board member of the local bird group and chairman of the membership council of Bird Protection Netherlands.

He has traveled to different parts of the world and knows from experience the advantage of a good local guide. He tries to put that into practice for guests.
